Optional ports and I/O for routers

Most Conel routers and modems offer one or more positions for optional interfaces. Thanks to this you may customize the hardware interface according to the relevant application. This modular design lets you change interfaces in the future, or add an interface that is not currently supported. Available standard interfaces:

ETHERNET 10/100

• Basic surge protection

RS232

• Basic surge protection

RS485 / RS422

• RS485 or RS422 - may be selected with switches on the board.
• Option to use galvanic (electric) separation using switches on the board
• Basic surge protection
• Supported devices: ER75i, ER75i v2, UR5, UR5 v2, UR5i, UR5i v2, XR5i, CGU04i, CDX800, CDE7

M-Bus master

• M-Bus master up to 30 M-Bus slave device
• Permanent protection against bus shortcut
• Possibility of galvanic separation through the use of external power source
• Supported devices: ER75i, ER75i v2, UR5, UR5 v2, UR5i, UR5i v2, XR5i, CGU04i, CDX800, CDE7

I/O module CNT

• 4 binary inputs, of which up to 2 inputs may be counter inputs
• 2 analogue inputs 4-20 mA
• 1 binary output
• Supported devices: ER75i, ER75i v2, UR5, UR5 v2, UR5i, UR5i v2, XR5i, CGU04i, CDX800

WiFi

• The expansion port WiFi is created as an addition of router desk, that allows using of wireless interface in Conel v2 routers.
• WiFi module supports AP (Access Point) function. This module allows you to scan the neighboring networks.
• Expansion port WiFi supports these standards: 802.11b, 802.11g, 802.11n
• Expansion port WiFi supports the following types of security: Shared, WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK
• Expansion port WiFi supports the following types of authentication: 64/128 WEP, TKIP, AES
• Wi-Fi module is supplied exclusively to FULL version routers. Installation is carried out in our production department.
• Supported devices: ER75i v2, UR5 v2, UR5i v2, XR5i v2, LR77v2, CR10v2
• Order code: XC-WiFi

SD

• Expansion port SD is created as an addition of router desk that allows routers to use a SD card as a USB flash drive or as an internal memory that extands the capacity of the internal memory of your router.
• Expansion port SD can be used in all v2 routers with available PORT2. Therefore it is designed for routers in version known as FULL.
• Order code: XC-SDH

Switch

• Internal switch (expansion port SWITCH) is created as an addition of router desk.
• With this device LAN ports of the router act as if this router was a typical switch device.
• Which means that the router with internal switch desk reads ethernet frames (a data packets on an ethernet link) from any port and transmits them on other ports.
• Each port on this device can transmit frames independently from every other port.
• Compatibility with Conel routers - ER75i v2, UR5v2, UR5i v2, XR5i v2, LR77 v2, CR10 v2.
